The more we can develop convergence of donor support through our TEAM/Bozzutos initiative the more food (healthy food!) we can get on the shelves of these pantries and ultimately to our most vulnerable residents in the region (including so many children & elderly). On average, 1.2 pounds = 1 meal so we’re distributing approximately 54,167 meals per month via this network of food pantries! We also have determined that 30% of those individuals are children (that’s more than 600 kids!) under the age of 18 and 15% (more than 300 older adults & elderly!) are aged over 60. He's an amazing dude, and I feel lucky to have you as part of our adventure.A network of 5 food pantries in the Valley are distributing an aggregate average of 65,000 pounds of food per month to approximately 877 households (1,992 individuals). I know Daniel struggled with online classes, but there were numerous times he looked forward to signing on and engaging with his classmates and teachers. In no small part it’s all the special attention you were able to give Daniel through the years, and the training he got at Monarch and The Hub that has enabled him to successfully launch himself into the Neurotypical world. He is working a full-time shift 10 hours a day four days a week, on his feet all day, in a space that’s pretty noisy, and is able to do everything that everyone else is doing in his work group without special help. It is interesting to me to see that he can do all the things that people said he was unable to do. He was able on his own and without help from his brother to get a full-time job at Amazon paying $15 an hour with benefits. He left his full-time job at FedEx because the hours were unreliable and it’s not air-conditioned in the summer.
